After each purchase, sale or transfer of units, PBZ Invest sends to the investor a notice of the performed transaction and the number of units which the investor owns after the transaction. The value of unit can be easily calculated by multiplying the number of units by the unit price which is published daily on the internet page of www.pbzinvest.hr, most of PBZ ATMs and on internet portals. The status and value of units in the PBZ Invest funds can be checked via Retail Internet Banking PBZ365@NET, in all PBZ branches, on the telephone number: 00385 1 63 63 699 and via mPBZ mobile banking.
The advantage of investment into investment funds is the possibility of receiving higher yield than for classic saving. Investment into funds enables diversification of investment therefore the risk of loss is significantly diminished. By buying a unit in a fund, one indirectly buys domestic and foreign shares and bonds, state securities, deposits in the first class banks and similar. The assets invested into funds are not tied to a certain period but are available after submission of a request for sale of the unit.
Only the investor can decide to which fund they will invest. Before making the decision on investment it is recommendable to read the Fund Prospectus.
The Prospectuses and Articles of Association of the PBZ investment funds can be found here.
Since the assets of funds are invested into various securities of numerous issuers, the risk is dispersed to the maximum extent and the possibility of collapse is at the minimum. The assets of funds are owned by the investors, therefore in the case of collapse or cancellation of the fund the assets are distributed to the unit holders proportionate to their unit within the fund property.
In case of adverse market trends the value of invested assets can be reduced. This risk is larger with the funds which have shares in their portfolio (equity and balanced funds). The feature of HRK cash funds is a constant growth of the unit price therefore this situation practically does not happen. The unit holders have no guarantee that the invested principal will not be reduced. However, the units can be sold at any time therefore it is hardly possible that one can lose their entire invested value.

Funds can be paid for a one’s own child. With request for purchase of units it is required to enclose the birth certificate or proof of being the child's custodian or trustee.
In order to sell units in the name of a minor child, a custodian or trustee of a minor can without approval of competent Social service Centre, only one time a month withdraw the funds as follows:
-
For a child up to 6 years of age, 17% of average salary that is 908,31 kn
-
For a child 7 to 12 years of age, 20% of average salary that is 1.068,60 kn
-
For a child 13 to 18 years of age, 22% of average salary that is 1.175,46 kn
For higher amounts than mentioned above it is required to obtain approval of the competent Social service Centre.
Of course. It is enough to specify the e-mail address in the request for purchase, sale or transfer of unit and the said address will become the basic address for communication.
